How is Gemma4 12B for general everyday use?

I want to use it for tasks like researching something, reading and modifying files on my PC, summarising and finding things from PDFs, solving math and engineering problems(not too complex stuff), process images etc. How good is it? I asked around and some claim its better than even Gemma 4 26B, but I need to be sure.
